Haironix Scalp Massager - Haironix

Haironix™ Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

1. Who We Are

Haironix™ ("Haironix", "we", "us", "our") operates the online store at www.tryhaironix.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information when you visit the Site, place an order, sign up for our emails or messages, or contact us.

For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, Haironix is the data controller of your personal information. You can reach us at support@tryhaironix.com

Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify's own processing of your information is also described in our Shopify store privacy notice. If anything in the two documents seems to differ, the version that gives you more protection applies.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us:

  • Contact details: your name, email address, phone number, and shipping and billing addresses
  • Order details: the products you buy, your plug type and other options, add-ons such as the Optional 1-Year Warranty, and your returns, exchanges or warranty claims
  • Account details, if you create an account (your login is handled securely by Shopify)
  • Communications: emails, chat or WhatsApp messages, support requests, photos you send for a warranty or return claim, and reviews
  • Answers you give in our Routine Quiz, used to recommend products
  • Marketing preferences, such as when you sign up through our pop-up or newsletter form

Information collected automatically:

  • Device and connection information: IP address, browser type, operating system and device identifiers
  • Usage information: pages viewed, products added to your cart, checkout activity, time spent and links clicked
  • Information from cookies, pixels and similar technologies (see Section 7)

Payment information: card and payment details are entered directly with our payment providers (Stripe and PayPal) and are not stored by Haironix. We receive only limited details, such as the payment status and the last four digits of a card.

Health information: we do not ask for medical or health information. Please do not send us details about medical conditions unless you choose to share them as part of a support request.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To process and deliver your orders, including payments, shipping, returns, refunds and warranty claims
  • To send order confirmations, shipping updates and customer support replies
  • To send marketing emails or WhatsApp/SMS messages if you have opted in (see Section 9)
  • To show you relevant advertising on other websites and apps, such as Google and Meta (see Section 7)
  • To measure and improve our Site, products, advertising and customer service
  • To prevent fraud, keep the Site secure and comply with our legal obligations

Legal bases (UK, EEA and similar laws): we process your information to perform our contract with you (fulfilling your order), with your consent (for example marketing messages and, where required, non-essential cookies), for our legitimate interests (for example improving the Site and preventing fraud), and to comply with legal obligations (for example tax and accounting records).

4. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only as needed with:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and checkout
  • Payment providers (Stripe and PayPal) to process your payment and prevent fraud
  • Fulfilment partners and shipping carriers, including our fulfilment centres in multiple regions, to pack and deliver your order
  • Analytics and advertising partners, such as Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to measure our Site and advertising and to show you relevant ads
  • Communication and support tools, such as our email and WhatsApp Business services
  • Authorities or professional advisers, where required by law or needed to protect our rights
  • A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or merged, under terms that keep your information protected

We do not sell your personal information for money. Under some laws (for example in certain US states), using advertising cookies and pixels may count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out at any time (see Section 8).

5. Payment & Security

Your payment details are handled by PCI DSS-compliant payment providers, and Haironix never sees or stores your full card number. Our Site uses encryption (HTTPS), and we limit access to personal information to people who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so please keep your account login safe and contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access.

6. International Transfers

We use service providers around the world and ship from fulfilment centres in multiple  regions. Your information may therefore be processed in countries other than the one you live in, which may have different data protection laws. Where we transfer personal information out of the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on recognised safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (or the UK equivalent), unless the destination has been found to provide adequate protection.

7. Cookies, Pixels & Advertising

We and our partners use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to:

  • Run the Site (essential): for example to keep items in your cart and to process checkout
  • Analyse traffic: for example Google Analytics, to see how visitors use the Site
  • Advertise: for example Google Ads and Meta pixels, to measure how well our ads work and to show you Haironix ads on other websites and apps based on your visit (also known as remarketing)

Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time through our cookie banner. You can also:

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it (portability)
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law (for example order and tax records)
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that has already taken place
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your information for targeted advertising. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out request for that browser where the law requires.

To make a request, email support@tryhaironix.com. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will reply within the time the law requires (usually within 30 days). You may use an authorised agent, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, for example the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), your EU/EEA supervisory authority, or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

9. Marketing Communications

We send marketing emails, WhatsApp messages or SMS only if you have opted in, for example through our sign-up pop-up or at checkout. You can opt out at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email, replying STOP to a text or WhatsApp message, or contacting us. Even after you opt out, we will still send transactional messages about your orders, such as order confirmations and shipping updates.

10. Data Retention

We keep your personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. Order and transaction records are kept for as long as tax, accounting and consumer law require (typically up to 8 years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. When we no longer need information, we delete or anonymise it.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Site and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, or under the age of majority where they live. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or to the law. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Where the changes are significant, we will give you notice as required by law.

13. How to Contact Us

We aim to reply to all requests within 2 business days.
